Music Video Draft Feedback

There was many unsuccesful aspects with our music video, for example- all of the shots where very similar, for our final version we are going to need to have a varitety of shots included, from different angles. Another unsuccesful aspect was to do with the people we included in the video. In our final version we need to include more interesting individuals and not just people from our school. The one random person we included (The bus driver) wen't down well, but his lip syncing was very poor, so will need to be re-filmed. On the subject of our cast, we need to include more females as the video is very male dominated.

The biggest aspect we need to focus on, is the Mise En Scene, this is vital to our music video and was not payed too much attention to in the draft. For example, the background behind some of the artists was unnatractive, like bushes and dirty walls etc. For our main version, we will need to consider every object that is in the shot- our most liked shot, a picture of a teacher at our School was very well received, but it had bad Mise En Scene, we can see this because he is sat in his office- which is dull and boring. In our final video we will not only have to have an interesting cast, but they will need to be in interesting enviroments.

The final aspect we will focus on is the miming, on our draft video, it was too obvious that the cast were not singing the song,  in our final video we will need to ensure that the whole cast actually sing the song, as it looks a lot better. To make sure the cast know the words, we can play the song in the background.
The instrumental to the song is also something we have to consider, during the instrumental on the draft we had some comedic dancing, there was very mixed opinions on this, so we may change this for our final version.
